LA LIBERTÉ MAGAZINE
mockup2-EN

The La Liberté team is proud to present its fourth special edition magazine dedicated to a phenomenon which is increasingly widespread and sweeps across the lives of people, families and organizations: cybercrime.

As a matter of fact, if the advent of the Internet has made our lives easier in many areas, it has also greatly benefitted a 2.0 version of criminals. When confronted to this faceless crime, Canadians often feel powerless and ignorant.

With the help of our committee of scientific experts in cybercrime, Fyscillia Ream and Akim Laniel-Lanani from the University of Montreal Research Chair in Cybercrime Prevention, who are also co-founders of the Cyber-criminology Clinic, and Bertrand Milot, lecturer in cyber-intelligence and president of Bradley & Rollins, an experienced company in the field, we wanted to give you the keys to better understand this complex phenomenon and the challenges it poses, to learn how to better protect yourself and your loved ones, and to know how to spot attacks and report them.

We have a collective responsibility to share and adopt the most responsible and safe digital practices in order to fight against this scourge.
